Do You Believe In The Ideal Partner?

Recently, I just got word 3 of my different friends had broken up with their stead. It really set me thinking:

Is that really such a thing as a perfect partner in this imperfect world? Most of us would have an idea of the kind of companion that we want in our lives. Yet, we can never be sure whether such a person exists. So in the meantime, should we just keep on trying, getting into a relationship and testing whether he/she is the one you have in mind? And when the relationship doesn't work, jump out of it?

I guess I'm more stupid. I choose to wait for my 'perfect one' to come along, rather than be in a relationship where I ain't whole-heartedly in love with the girl. (That explains why I had only one ex. Hee..) Will I lost out in the end? I have a feeling I would.

Hee... Usually I'd start out by knowing the girl as a normal friend, observing the way she treats other people...the way she behaves. And of course, the chemistry should be present. And when I am sure she is the kind of girl I have in my mind, I would take action. First will drop hints, then see her response. If she is receptive, then I will start the entire courting routine. doubt dat a ideal partner.. most of the times we often wish our partner has some of e traits or character which another person has.. & mayb dat person might not has certain traits or character dat ur partner has..
mayb human r greed by nature they do often wish hw it wld be better if a person wld hv e traits of tis 2 persons.. and mayb always in search of tis ideal partner but sadly it only wasted much of ur youth... Neutral

ideal partner or not? hmm...dat's the qns most of us oways asks ourselves when we r in a new r/s...actually...most of us r so darn dissppointed in r/s is cos we havnt found the rite 1..well...if we keep on tryin...sure will find the rite one...dat's why its called ideal rite?

to me, and ideal partner is like...lookin for a flat...or even...looking for an ornament to place in ur rm...the process is somewhat in a way...similiar...u gotta look to and fro...high and low just for the thing u wanna place in ur rm...from ptA to ptB and to C den back to A...who knows? wad u r finding might be in pt A? Wink

lookin for and ideal partner ain't easy...but it ain't diff too... Wink

To me, there isnt a perfect partner or a perfect match. I wish there is! But i shall dreamz onZzz..Zzzzz.. Rolling Eyes However, i belive that 2 imperfect persons can work together to perfect their relationship. Meaning that both party are willing to work to maintain and bring out the best in the relationship. If then, the relationship is near to perfection. (Bearing in mind, there's always up and down in a relationship, its never perfect and flawless)Thus to find a partner that share the same "vision" is good enough. Like u said we r living in an imperfect world...
