To go poly or Jc?? Need help

go jc if u are willing to mug 8-10 hours a day during that exam period... if u cannot take it..go poly...

a poly student meet the poly requirement

& a jc student meet the jc requirement.

who will they take in if there is only one entry?

For poly, they also gotta look at their O Lvl results also

poly. 12 pt in jc is gonna suffer, unless u are willing to put in many hours of hard work

There's 1 thing I got to mention

The poly dip cert you hold also affects the courses you can take... Like Biz, you can't pursue an Eng degree

C+ - 2.5

D + - 1.5

D- ,sub pass, dunno what pass other pass -0.5

Each module has a credit unit

GPA =
[(Module credit unit * grade point ) + other credit unit* grade point]/total credit unit
highest you can ever get = 4...and it is accumulative from year 1 to year 3...means u year 1 not good den hard to catch up liao... Very Happy

Good not just merit only... is a certain % of your cohort..

But doesn't apply to all courses... poly grads still can't take a medical degree.

opt for poly n most important choose a course which is relevant in psychology, then ur chance will be guarantee much higher than those who study in jc as this is ur speciality.

but keep in mind:
u must be sure u r top 5% poly students in order to advance.

actually can, i've heard of a few crossovers. just that they start at year 1. no credit exemptions. Laughing

Eh??? I think can... I have senior who went to business in Uni(oversea though) who is in engineering...but his GPA very high

Overseas uni can... but SG uni no. Unless your grades are good.

actually i m not too sure myself too.

but there was a year, whereby a JC student has an average grade of C. He cant get into the course he wanted but he was given an entry to EEE.

& a poly student who is a top 10% was rejected from EEE.

this was what i heard before.
