I have one before.... good grip and handling on the road. The
drive feels good and the sensitivity on the steering is a class of
its own. Compare to the SLK, the SLK is smoother and the drive is
distinctive Mercedes - lots of comfort but no feel of the road
handling/ground and power. You would probably not feel the
difference if you were driving the C class and the SLK. For
me, a sportscar needs to have the feel of the raw power
when you need it and the porsche boxster S with 310 BHP
provides this adequately.
Most of the comparison for the boxster is always been with the
Audi TT. For me, both cars are equally good but at the end of the
day, a Porsche is a Porsche. The logo at the front of the bonnet
tells all. Moreover, if the car is from Stuttgart Auto, you
get to join the exclusive Porsche Club and to improve your
driving skills, there is always the Porsche Driving School in
Mount Cotton Australia.
