sea_guy SG Hi there...i just wanna know if there's any cars selling below $400...New cars below $400 or Used cars below $400 If used Toyota Vios or Altis around how much? If used Honda Civic VTI is around how much? Can used cars be trusted?
sea_guy SG kia and hundai cars good meh? kia picanto too small lay... hundai getz oso too small.... these 2 brands which 1 fuel consumption lower? COE cars good a not? heard tt there will be a lot of problems....
tiggersgd SG u forgotten abt road tax and insurance? these should incl. into ur monthly budget as well. perhaps petrol too? for that amt. u can look at compact korean cars or chevy aveo series? i think even the msian made cars are applicable but how reliable are they, esp. the msian ones? korean like hyundai still can barely make it. else picanto is also a nice small compact car to consider.
sea_guy SG not counting road tax and insurance and petrol yet lar...i mean only the car itself monthly installment only... Chevy good ar? fuel consumption low? but chevy dun have any good looking cars lay...malaysia made? u mean Preodua? tt is too small...
zerocool85 SG sorry to say this la... beggars cant be chosers... im not saying that ure a beggar.. but with ur $400/mth.. u cant really afford a nice/spacious car.. welcome to singapore.. with $400/mth overseas.. u can buy v.nice and spacious cars already.. hyundai cars are heavy bodied.. so consumption is rather high.. but i dunno wat that hyundai sonata do to win that shell fuel stretch challenge.. 32km/litre.. for ur budget.. consider 2nd hand honda jazz or maybe COE civic.. i think $20k can get one already.. go browse sgcarmart.com and select ur price range..
sea_guy SG do u know the price of used Vios or Altis or Civic VTI? Kia cars good a not? chevy good? COE cars i heard tt got a lot of problems? u mean i can get a 2nd hand Honda Jazz? serious?
zerocool85 SG 400/mth.. 4800/year 48000/10 yrs. meaning ur budget to buy a car itself is $48k.. if i'm not wrong.. to buy a new vios is about $43-$47k.. if u want to buy a brand new car.. please dont buy hyundai or kia.. i'm not bias against korean cars but they need to improve on certain things.. i would highly recommend you to buy a toyota vios for ur range because toyota is known for its reliability. though many would say that its made in thailand and its not as good as before.. i would still thing its a better choice over the korean cars u mentioned. unless u dont mind a 2nd hand car (not COE type).. u can go for the 2nd hand Jazz listed in sgcarmart.com.. their prices there are from $43-$49k.. however.. those jazz have been registered since 2003.. http://www.sgcarmart.com/main/listing.php?MOD=jazz&CAT=All+Categories&PR1=0&PR2=&FR=Any

kentheman SG u pay peanuts, u get monkeys.... get it? kia picanto seems to be the car tt suits ur budget. with the interest rates, car price and all.. FC is very good, manual can clock 17km/l. road tax insurance all cheap cheap...
mr sunray SG With your budget, you can even buy a new car. Just pay more upfront. If you pay more on your downpayment, your monthly loan is very minimum and affordable. The above only works if you have extra spare $ in your bank.
skthk SG Hey I just asked this recently was told only can get OPC. Was about to ask again lowest instalment for a Pica But people say Pica not so safe ? then if Vios might as well a bigger Lancer ? Heard someone got a OPC Lancer for $400 per month over 10 years
