^tamago^ SG good one. i forgot to disable the '0' number. haha. it's definitely not valid. the prefix is generated from the LTA prefixes list. hard-coded. if u're doing a program, it's better if u know the valid prefixes cos it doesn't really follow a fixed sequence. for e.g, there is no SCB, but there is SDB. and all SxI, SxO etc are not valid. cos it's not fixed, it's best to define them individually.

ceecookie SG it would be better if it could tell what are all of the used numbers... eg if i put SCM it will tell me all the registered number plates that have SCM

^tamago^ SG TE = technical employment. this is wat i got from a lady who drove a S/TE as well. i think they are damn good FT's being invited to work in singapore. anyway, other S/ plates: CD = Corps of Diplomats CC = Corps of Consulates/Commissioners sorry, a bit blur. do advise if this is against the rules, cos we need to show the plate.
yoongf SG Thanks for the info! Initially, I thot was related to Asian Aerospace, but the road tax disc was effective Dec 05. Would be real interesting to find out what is the criteria for such a plate.
