I think Parka's post says everything about the subject.
When I was not looking and single, I observed this phenomenon.. the
good and caring guys are always ignored. The women were always
hanging onto the ones with the reputation of being an uncaring
heartbreaker.
They would run to the nice guy to cry when they inevitably had
their hearts broken, then run off after the next neanderthal who
comes along and flirts with them.
Then the women will complain bitterly that there are no more good
men when all the while, the nice guy is sitting there, ignored.
