Feedback on Opetl Astra 1.8

Hi,

I am looking at buying the Opel Astra 1.8.

Any owner got any feedback about the car ?

Not too sure about the price of the astra 1.8l... but for me if i were to consider this car... i would certainly plumb for the new Honda Civic FD

i may be wrong but the price should be similar...

displacement is the same... but the Civic has more power and a 5 speed auto vs 4 for the astra... worth investigating ba..

Unless of coz ur looking solely at contis... then go right ahead...

5 auto box = less petrol also right?

since its lower on the revs after 5th gear.

but the opel is sweet.

why not the turbo version. that just makes me drool.

the UK spec 2.0 turbo is not very fast but its stable.

rented it 2 yrs back and it was magic. ate some tarmac!

opel = good conti fun

homda = good japanese fun
