Hmm. As long as the pictures depict the brutal treatment of the japanese soldiers to the civilians or maybe the accounts (written) from citizens who went through the war will do. A short paragraph if it is an account.

well i suggest if u dun wanna spend money, u can go the library to check it out becos there r lots of such history books regarding the world war 2 in singapore.

As for the POWs, most likely you won't find them in SG anymore, they should be back home. And if they are alive to this date...

Try reading the LKY book...

Also, if you want pictures, try Serangoon. I know this area got some tombs or something. Don't know, go to Peicai Sec and ask for help. They organized a tour around this area before.
