Ito_^ SG no juice, dried le. no funny insect tastes either. its not like you imagined, at all. really. its like.. nuts, for some insects. got one water roach or something, the shell hard hard one. den initially i dunnoe go chew, den later the local teachers show me peel the shell den eat. unless they go and steam it la.. u haven eat it yet dats y u imagine all the yucky juices and crap. but in reality, its not lidat one. except maggots. yuck!
Xiaozzhen SG I wanna thank those gals and guys who taught me how to bargain in my last thread "I am going to Beijing". I got great deals.. better prices than my two tour guides at Sui Shui Market. By the way, we were very lucky. My 5 day Beijing tour consisted of just us four pax. The other Singapore 8 day Beijing group had 20 pax! So we could do our own thing, spent as much or as little time as we want, eat all the food ourselves without fighting for our share... and we had exclusive attention and service.

Unidentified SG people carve stand beside them and watch some of the ppl are illiterated and they ask u to write ur name on paper , then they just follow the shape And yea , in china there people treat mao ze dong as god , every house will have his statue , reason wise im not sure , researching for history
Xiaozzhen SG The two man who carved our names are literate, i am sure because our characters are difficult and they carved fairly quickly. Juyongguan metal cert 40 yuan (S$ Badaling metal cert only 20 yuan !! (S$4) We bought a stone from a young artist for 50 yuan (S$10) and asked him to carve in Chinese " The Great Wall of China, Badaling, June 4 2007", which he did without us writing the words down.. Times have changed. China people are getting up in life...
