Depends on how cleanly severed it is, how well-preserved the
severed body part is, and how long it remains severed for before
the op.
Remember that little girl whose big toe got ripped off on the
escalator? She couldn't get her toe sown back coz it took too long
for the rescue team to free her.. recovered the toe too late..
there would've been less chance having it reattached too, coz of
how it was severed
