allblacks SG Hi Bros, Was in the exhaust shop yesterday when i saw a lancer cutting off his centre silencer box...so anyone knows wat he replaced wit?
t3r SG if u r reffering to the box before the muffler.. its the resonator.. people usually cut it off and replace it with a normal pipe.. it will sound approximately 3x louder..
tailslide SG u kidding. with the stock rear box and piping intact, the difference in sound can hardly be audible.
johncooper SG Aiya Cut everything out and fit it with one stright pipe Solved all the problem ... i have seem people done that on the DC5 and you will be freaking amazed with the sound, you can even hear it 1km away!!! esp with the Vtec open
t3r SG yeah..assuming the rear muffler is changed..the change in sound is very significant.. but if its stock..i doubt there will be a change in sound anyway..
