CanadianBornChinese SG Are you kidding me? Why? Any "Gwai Lo" hangout spots? (Although its the norm here). Any place cool, fun and to just chill w/ Singaporeans.
R3SsH|n SG the last i remember was around 4-6 hours on average. there are alot of bus companies for u to take, something luxurious u have to look around at the bus station when u are there..they have plenty of bus companies for u to choose. for train, i not sure if they have train direct from KL to singapore or vice versa, u have to ask the rest. u can bargain in singapore at some places. sim lim square can bargain wan...things like food cannot bargain. try MOS at clark quey, st james power station at habourfront or zouk at Mohammed Sultan.
CanadianBornChinese SG OK, 4hrs isn't bad. I'm not too sure about 6hrs though. Thanks, that's great. I will look more into it once I get there. Freak, hope I don't get ripped off. I have heard stories. Maybe hanging out with the locals would help huh. So, when it comes to buying perishables in KL or Singapore. I can't bargain? I can with anything else? Any other tips I need to know? Thank you
NuTcRaCk SG LoL... didn't expect to have a good reaction on wat i've said actually... haha... hmm... from KL to s'pore the Bus journey is ard 6hrs?? i only know bus service cos i only been there once by bus... there's pit stops along the way... and u should try the Rumly(is dat how u spell dat?) burger when there's a pitstop. electronics... how about sim lim square? lucky plaza? ps: make sure it's a reasonable price n bargain, they like to raise their price to mountain high as u're a foreigner. anyway... s'pore is divided in 3-4 races location... geylang serai - malay populated little india along bukit timah road - indian populated bungalows ard s'pore - caucasians populated anywhere else - chinese populated orchard road is considered central town area... there's another 2 places where i considered town area... toa payoh and tampines...

CanadianBornChinese SG Yayy! A few more sleeps till I leave for KL and Singapore. I was told to check out "Zouk" in Singapore. Is it any good in you people's opinion? I'm looking forward to this short vacation. I'm might be meeting up with friends in Singapore. I will be here for a week or less. Any other information I should know? Cheers

CanadianBornChinese SG I had a GREAT time in Singapore. Ya guys were really helpful and friendly. I liked Singapore than Kuala Lumpur. Watch "Songs of the Sea" at Sentosa. We stayed very near to Orchard Road. It's really busy on the weekends.
