1) War can never be justified because it causes deaths, sufferings and distress to both sides; there are no winners, only losers.

2) War cannot be justified because it's the manifestation of human's ego and greed; there are most likely peaceful ways of solving disputes.

Thesis statement:

War can never be justified because it causes deaths, sufferings and distress to the people involved, and could have most likely be avoided by peaceful solutions if both sides were more willing to put down their pride and give more consideration to their citizens.

Somehow I cannot see war as the final 'solution' but the last 'resort'.

War is subjective. Its a circumstances where two countries are fighting each other. The invading one can try to justify, thus this question is only for countries who are planning to invade.

The defending one do not have to say anything. They didnt initiate the fight.

And since the question of justification is only applicable to the starter, the question/answer now is, since when has any war NOT been started because of one country's selfish motive and intention?
