Me. Which flavour are you using? Mr. Green

I'm using Xubuntu. Smile

Illegal Operation SG

It's free, easy to install and you don't have to patch it all the time for security flaws.

Try this.

http://www.ubuntu.com/

Download, burn onto a CD, pop it in and try it from the CD.

Lazy people lazy ways.

Go and order. It's FOC. Just register an account there. It can take up 2 months for delivery, as it always say, but I received mine 1 month later. Very Happy

Xubuntu is not included, because Xubuntu is specialized???!!! Don't know, I feel that it's easy to use, just like Ubuntu, don't know what's so specialized about it.

That's why I am encouraging more people to try it.

It really is possible to survive without Windows and you save money on windows upgrades, virus scanner subscriptions and the new PC to run memory and processor hungry windows applications.

Illegal Operation SG

Hey, say if Apple releases a version of OS X that runs on PCs, will you switch?

Deino SG

ok so count that number and see....wot i can try to guess is 60-70% of singaporeans including families are using windows whilst 30-40% use Mac. The rest use others......a group is small compared to a country

Deino SG

wot you talking about, my auntie using a normal pc and she using both mac and windows

ndmmxiaomayi SG

You very slow leh... got Boot Camp, can dual boot liao!

Now that Macs are on Intel chips, it makes things even easier.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

I wouldn't say that number would number to 10%, but I'm pretty sure got at least 1%.
