I have signed a new appointment letter recently.

Strange thing is, HR never asked for my originals transcript (i gave zapped copies) during the interview and recent payslip. lol

will they do a background check on me?

this is a well known MNC.

Any HR People here care to enlighten.

cos i got a lot of shit to hide.

Is it for a high post? Like managerial and above? Laughing I know some govt boards do, so if you do go for interview need to fill up application forms, please get your parents and siblings nric numbers ready.

It they find out your offence with the pervious employer you can get charge..

So far, I have ppl calling my references for check.

Also the recent interviews, I was told to show original copies.

reference checks are not uncommon so it may happen from time to time not based on job title only.

be truthful, if your worth paying....they will pay. renumeration has got nothing to do with your last drawn pay but rather the company's budget when hiring Very Happy

Seriously, there are companies who discreetly call your previous companies to validate certain items in your resume. But if you have already signed the appointment letter, they should know you inside and out already.
