This is a video of some US marines chasing down some alledged
insurgents. Now what I want to discuss is whether or not it was bad
drills to do that, a sort of AAR
IMO, it was clearly a mistake to do so. They marines are strangers
to the area (no matter how many patrols you've done, you cannot
possibly have match the local knowledge of err locals). What if it
was an ambush they werre being led to? The commander probably needs
some harsh words.
Note he did not even know where he was after the chase ended. IMO,
bad drills all round.
