ChoCoChips SG i need help here. to cut long story short, i dunno whether i should choose aerospace engineering or financial econs. i also dunno which one i like, or im more suited for which one. help pls!!! i need to reply to offers by next tuesday.
ditzy SG Why NTU must name their mechanical engineering course together with aerospace engineering, why not computer, environmental, biomedical, or similanfcuk engineering? Why aerospace?
Rock^Star SG What's your interest? How much do you know about the courses? An aerospace engineer will have a bright future but his responsibility is extremely huge too. You can also be sure you can employ your skills anywhere in the world. Financial econs? Do you like stats and figures? You like to do deep analysis? Just some pointers. Hope that helps.
honeymouse SG Depends on what you really interested in doing. Just remember that will be your career for the next 40-50 years so you have to enjoy what you are doing. Another thing is how easy for you to find a job after you completed your course? The subjects you're going to do in Financial econs and Aerospace eng are completely different. Do you like statistics or physics? Do you like pure Maths or applied Maths? You really need to know what both courses can offer you and make the decision based on your interest. If you have the opportunity, perhaps go and chat with people who are doing Financial econs and aerospace eng at uni and get some ideas what are the things they do. All the best!!!
Rock^Star SG It sounds like you dunno what the hell is going on Choose wisely yah, don't waste your parent's CPF money. Should go Changi Airport and talk to the engineers.....or go Raffles Place and chat up investment bankers.
