GreatBallsofFire SG Any guys here into modelling plastic pre-assembled cars? Better than off the shelf dont you think?? Tho its not to say die casts are no good... but there's no sense of accomplishment when you buy a ready made one is there?
tofushop193 SG i make 8 skyline gt-r…ranging from r32 to r34…with different tunners…haha…but when it comes to the window part,the tamiya cement will touch the window sia…hahaha…now all of them no window liao…try many ways to avoid this but cannot
GreatBallsofFire SG try this… the cement you only apply at portion where you think will come in contact with the top.. no point… the trick is to turn your car’s body upside down and slowly put it on.. use masking tape on the window areas which you think will get affected by the cement
Theatre Of Dreams SG apply cement to the frame on the body where the window is going to be attached to rather than on the window itself? alternatively i think can use other types of adhesives for windows. i still haven reached the window step for my current maiden project
