ndmmxiaomayi SG Yeah... but as far as the PRCs in Singapore are concerned, they speak Mandarin than dialects. I've not heard anyone speaking their dialects yet.
ndmmxiaomayi SG Just as English is an international that serves a bridge, Mandarin is the bridge in China. Places like Shanghai, Hainan, Fujian, Guangzhou, Henan, Hebei have people speaking their own dialects rather than Mandarin.
curryman SG im from malaysia...even w/o opening ur eyes i can tell prc from malaysian even when they both speak in mandarin...but its harder to tell between sporean n malaysian. but i think prcs generally have very poor hearing skills... i got to know a prc in europe...he told me he thinks he speaks with british accent.....puik....he havent even been to uk..coz need visa ai...being malaysian n singaporean ..no need
