Prevent people from signing up new accounts to mass post advertising threads I guess.

Happened here a long time ago.

I can understand something like a 30 sec limit for each post, or activation codes, or those pics with numbers on them, or even a probation period like this, but 5 mins per post for 20 posts?

and $10 for a premium membership is quite high, that's like 2 hours worth of work when i was doing part time.

TehJarVu SG

dun like u can go somewhere else

$10 for every 6 months... is not every month...

turbo_drift SG

$10 actually quite reasonable liaox.. Do u expect $50 just for pee-membership?? Of cos to the ppl like those students, $50 quite ex.. But as for $10, cheap la.. 3 days pocket money, enuf liaox..

$10 for premier membership still wanna complain.. Haiz.. Now i really understand why Singaporeans are so c._._._._.s._._._._...... Fill in the rest urself..

ceecookie SG

Another (major) obstacle for students is that the payment is strictly by bank xfer and no-cash-policy,no prepaid card or whateva.

Xiaozzhen SG

20 posts is easy to reach Razz

turbo_drift SG

But most of the students now have bank account (with bank card of cos) liaox..

TehJarVu SG

if u sincerely want to do it and don't have a bankcard, you can always find other ways to do it...... Rolling Eyes

blame the 50cent clone la.. last time when got no in-between post waiting time he go spam 100+ 50cent pics in every thread. even FI couldn’t keep up, then decided to on the post limit time lo…

alveo SG

Not everyone can afford it, if you can, good for you.

You can say singaporeans are misers and whatever, but show me people from any country who are happy to give out money.

Not as though we havent had enough of people asking us for money outside mrt stations and parks.

Yes,but the payment method is not 100% safe and not immediate(from the pt of the xger) either

" The easiest method is using the DBS/POSB ATM where all you need is a DBS/POSB ATM card.

.....

4. The payment amount for your username (ceecookie) is $9.84. You *MUST transfer exactly this amount.
......

*The payment amount differs slightly from username to username, this helps us to verify that the person who made the payment is indeed you."

Even with the different amount,i give it a 99% secure rate. The 1% would be lest human error.
