Well, VK. You choose to agitate me with your lack of tact and I returned the same favour. You mentioned your doors are always opened; however if someone spat on your carpet, you will get even. I was just practising your belief Smile Learn "do unto others"

Not to stray from the topic or tap on the chance to start another round of insults.

It is the efforts of a host to make the visitors feel comfortable and welcomed. Like I mentioned in the other thread; one can disagree or agree freely, but there is not a need to resort to sarcasm or demeaning to other.

It is mere kindness and consideration for the vistors; an act of graciousness. With all due respect, if one think that life is about getting even; then there is not much goodness to speak of that person. I direct this at no one; just food for thought.

You want to look back at your postings and pick up those that has otherwise been impolite to the TS and tell them off. Or was it just me?

What is considered hospitality?
to welcome someone (A) that spit on your carpet
and to chide someone (B) who spit back at the spitter (A)
because that person is a guest (A)?

Hospitaity dictates that the guest be treated with honour.
Also the guest has a responsibility to reciprocate.

So guest (A) spits on the carpet.
Someone else (B) spit back at (A).
Both have broken the Rules of Hospitality.
The host would express his disapproval to (A)
and his abhorrence to (B).

In this BB, it is open for participants to contribute.
The quality (or lack of) of the contribution is to be tolerated.
But personal attack on the contributor is to be avoided.

Hospitality is showing your virtue to others and making others feel at home or at ease when conversing with you. You want more, dictionary offers more explaination than mine. Laughing

Genuine hospitality = good hospitality.
Superficial hospitality = showing hospatility for the sake of showing hospitality = not-so-good hospitality.

When you eradicate cultural differences, religious background differences, racial differences, social standing differences and remove your sense of pride (self before others) and many others... will you SEE how good hospitality can get.

Do you want to return hostility with hostility? You do know that will not end until someone or some faction gets hurt. There is no winner in this scenario. The victor may get an ego boost and the defeated gets brusied in pride, but both lost big time. Bad relationship, uncontrolled anger and hatred, qualities and attributes that could be used for beneficial purposes are now being deployed for vengeance.
