the logic of keeping an army ns system is base on ones intelligence.its like ww2...do u still see any soldiers carrying the rocket bazzoka or mp40s home and waiting foir the enemy due to weapons being sanctioned as the right to protect ones freedom?no!!the weapons are removed from troops once war is over.

same as ns....why u need such lengthy ns when theres no war ?4 months is enought to train one on weapons along with bmt stuff.....why u need another 1 year 8 months more??because u flipped a coin and it said 1 year 8 moinths??all these has a logic n accountbility,,,not because i think maybe i need more time with ns for conscrpits etc etc....which is exactlky a cheaper,faster n better solution than really paying for a regular army.

i would say some politician is using ns as a cheapskate way to protect country.

no one is stopping u from going to front line to fight....everyone after a 5 mth or 4 mth ns will be at front line too.so...............what u really need is to be regulat soldier serving 10 year contracts.the ns thingy cheapens regular service and spoils the market too.

With regards to women doing NS, I'm concerned that those foreigners who are HERE already view and treat us soldiers with contempt. What runs through their minds when they see their neighbour as a uniformed slave marching off to reservist. Knowing your partner is left all alone to take care of everything while they shake leg at home, because someone has to do the defence of everyone.

It is doubly humiliating for us, and doubly smug for them, because we did not choose this fate. Our leaders chose it for us, and brought them here, and we have no power to change anything. They know it, we know it, they know we can't change it.

The humiliation would be complete if they saw our women marching off to reservist as well. Whether camo or nurses uniform, it would be a fucking humiliation.

fuck me???welll fuck you deep deep ok!!!your soldiers from ns are cardboards soldiers with mere 2 years ns!they can be killed off slayghtered easily and by real professional soldiers who have been in the force and have been in the art of killing for above 5 years.the ns soldiers now can be replaced by software and hardware with only a single guy manning the whole show.....the gurkhas can be called in...i wouldnt ask an ns unit to come take on professional soldiers with a decade of combat expertise as compared to 2 years of ns.

Regulars? Ha. My OC last reservist incamp commented one thing. Our NSmen unit is even better than the regulars at infiltration and cover/concealment. Just because they sign on doesn’t mean they are automatically good, mindset, dedication and willpower counts a lot. You just look on paper, I look at my buddies and I see survivors.
