xavier1979 SG Just out of curiousity, how long would you wait for a friend who is late? How long would you make a friend wait for you if you are late? How would you make sure you or your friend turn up on time? Pls be frank hor.
xavier1979 SG For me, I would wait for my friend up to 30 mins. And I would want my friend to be able to do the same for me. I would try to be out of home by a certain time if I want to reach somewhere on time. I would remind my friend of the meeting time and place via SMS beforehand.
kohanson SG I've waited for more than 1hour plus for my friend.. he will ask me to meet him at 6pm den he'll either turn up at 6.30 or 7... so to counter this problem, i'll ask him to meet me at 5.30 and i reach the place at 6pm.. but he comes at 6.15 ..
Ecxentrique SG Hmm.. if its a justifiable reason that he or she is late, I think I will wait until he/ she turns up.. If he/ she cannot be reached. Half and hour at most for me.
mapp|ezz SG ya agree...can oways call n ask y he or she haben reach yet...if they r reaching juz wait lor..if not..i ask them go back home.. once mi n my fren suppose to meet my other grp of frens..end up onli 2 turn up bt abit late..so nvm..the rest..when i called them..1 say juz leave hse..the other say he in jurong area..when we meeting in cityhall...then i fed up i tell them dun bother..juz go home..say i angry liaoz..dowan meet them..ta pai late one...
veLvEtgEr SG .....depends on my mood if i got an md to listen to, got a place to sit, got something to read... can wait for up to 1hour++??? or if there's an arcade or library or shopping area nearby... can wait up to 2hrs.....meanwhile i'll keep calling my fren lor and hurry that fellow!!! if by end of 2hrs he/she is still not there yet.......then........ *poof* im gone

veLvEtgEr SG haha i remember once my bro was going to meet me... and he rides somemore then when he was late for like an hour, i panicked and tried calling his phone cant get through soemmore... and i thought of the worse......... luckily he called me finally... his hp low batt... and he was held up at his workplace......
Estee SG yeah, i always believe that, if somehow you know that you are gonna be late or what, be polite enough to notify the person waiting for you, you dun want people to be worried for you, do you??

oh oh SG normally i am the one thats late............kindda of used to it liao. Anyway, i would normally wait bout 30mins frenzs, for someone i like. anytime as long as she is coming.
