Simple answer. Dont need to tghink hard.

Because of 2 yrs serving, ns boys know how to keng. They not really want to go ns, against their will and take oath against their will too.

Shorten it to 1 year and our boys weakness will be disappeared.

Just look at thos going to rod, all got strength.

i doubt they can save and help their countryman when help is needed in peacetime and anywhere on the planet.whats the point of fighting for singapore?all i see is the spore gov and army give foreigners $$$$$$ overseas to make life miserable and poorer for me. they give so much $$$$ to foreigners to screw their own fellow countryman?what kind of defence policy is that first of all?

i am slowly losing faith in my own country singapore.

strength: rich enough to pay protection fee to usa every year.

our weakness is our safety. we're too safety concious. ALTHOUGH that is very important, sometimes releasing the leesh alittle will go a long way, for example, more fierce deployments. Singapore often only sends her troops to deploy for peace keeping missions, or even if we do go to Afgan, we stay in "the box".

It would be good for our soldiers to have some real experience.

Then we'll have to find a war that isn't Western-led, doesn't involve Muslims and does not offend any important country. Thank god for Africa.

Anyway if every SAF soldier were equipped to the level of SAF troops in Afghanistan, SAF would be broke.

troops in afghanistan are in a box. they don go out so they are safe. even if they go out, only in extreamly safe place with extream protection from usa

M'sia and Indonesia won't dare to attack us even if we BEG them to do it................

This one some kiddy project or what? Ok nvm I chip in my 2 cents worth. Our biggest weakness is the dislike of PAP. Once war, we shoot the ministers first. So everybody is dead before even firing a bullet. Muahahahahaha (evil laughter)
