Ceecookie,
I know you are a young chap, and already know a lot abt cars, which
is quite impressive in my opinion. But sometime, its better to
think twice before posting. No offence to you, but i read a lot of
posts here, certain things you post make sense and certain thing
definitely not, thus making those who read rather pek chek in a
way. For example when someone asking abt the TS, you tell them get
a Rex. Not everybody in the world can afford one, haha..... and
definitely not me at this moment.
And yeah, i do agree with the others in this instances, when making
comparison, we got to compare apple to apple. If i can afford car
in the range of the golf gti, i will be getting myself a Rex
already, wouldn't I? Or a Euro R etc.
Yes, the closest that come near to the IS is the YRV turbo. A pity
i never go test drive the car, but as you point out, its an auto,
and not everyone can accept an auto turbo charge car. To me (no
offence to YRV turbo drivers out here), it somehow lost the fun of
driving a "sport" car. But of cos, maybe when i grow older and
intend to drive an auto car, YRV will definitely be one of the car
i consider consider its "value for money".
The reason why pple choose to drive IS is becos, its a "value for
money" car, thats all. Not fantastically fast (no where near teh
TCs and Type Rs), but think its a fun car to drive. But of cos, i
gotto admit that suzuki car overall quanlity (interior etc) is not
the best in the range of Japs car. Slight disappointment in this
aspect though.
Hope these infor does helps. Cheers~!
