What are your favourite movies and why? Here're mine:
Pulp Fiction - Excellent dialogue; Tarantino at
his best
Memento - One of those movies where you're like
wtf is going on the whole time until the very end when everything
makes sense and huge plot twist. Masterfully done
Kill Bill vol. 1 - Excellent cinematography and
stylised fight scenes. Especially love the anime bit. Another
masterpiece by Tarantino
Reservoir Dogs - A Tarantino movie. need I say
more?
Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle - Probably one
of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
The Godfather Trilogy - Excellent storyline and
screenplay.
Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny - One of the
funniest movies I've seen combined with my love of rock music makes
this another of my favourites. Plus it stars one of my favourite
bands too: TENACIOUS D. And of course the cameo appearance by
Ronnie James Dio. I mean any movie with RJD has to be good.
The Departed - Great plot, twists. A classic
Scorcese masterpiece
Goodfellas - Another great classic by
Scorcese
Shaft - Classic blaxploitation film
Superfly - Same as above
The Nightmare Before Christmas - One f*ckin trippy
movie. Try watching this when high, it's the best.
Jackass 1 and 2 - Real crazy stunts done by a
bunch of idiots = comic genius.
