TP already sent out warning that there will be operation island wide to catch drunk drivers during this festive seaon. so my advice to young and old punks is that dont push you luck too far.

If you drink and mati mati want to drive, dont be how lian and offer to send friends (especially chicks) home, drive home by yourself. If you kenna caught, all you friends will say is that I am sorry. but for you, you will get your license suspended, or even jailed. Worst is you tried to drive without license.

Be smart, get someone to drive, or park your car at carparks that allow overnight parking.

As for passenger, if the driver is drunk, please dont get into the car.

on the same note, the TP ops is not just about getting drunk drivers, also speeding reckless driving etc are on their list.

anyone notice nowadays alot of TP on the roads? all take care and drive safely.

by the way, for those who have no idea, who don’t have to be pissed drunk to fail the alcohol breathe test. if the alcohol level in ur blood is beyond a certain level, you will get it from the TP. even if you feel perfectly fine and still can walk straight (gone are the days of walking the single line dude)

The best is to find a designated driver for the evening if you intend to drink.
Do a car pool, its fun. you can even drink in the car and no one is going to stop you.

my dad is a taxi driver. he avoids drunkards. Shocked so getting a friend is still the best option.

once, i was on a m/cycle and passed a taxi. the taxi driver opened his windows and was smoking away. then the stench came. YUCKS! vomit!

actually it is those who drink and then still speed people that spoils the market. If people drink and then exercise self control by driving slowly, then everything would have been fine. But many youngsters like to drink and then speed somemore thereby causing accidents. That's why now tp say totally cannot drink liao.
i remember once, I drank a glass of housepour. 1 glass only finished over 5 hours, then i drive slowly. Even with only one glass, i can feel my reaction slower. i cant understand why there are always people who are so egoistic, drunk already still want to drive so fast. Can't these people just understand that they are merely mortals who succumb to alcohols?
From my experience, i will not even drink one glass to drive.

like what you said, one glass is enough to slow your reaction. it doesn't matter if you drive slow or fast, your reaction to adverse conditions will be affected already, which renders you not safe for driving...

i dun think anyone can think clearly and keep speeds under control with the influence of alcohol. so the best bet is still not to drink.

fyi, your alcohol tolerance is not always the same. so you have to know when you have hit you limit. There are times when I can have 15 beers and i still feel "OK" and yet there are times when I can have 2 beers and I feel totally drunk and tired.

The worst is when you are drunk and you feel sleepy. that is the time when you will dosed off while you are driving.

Please dont drink and drive, it is not worth it.

This is all a very good and sensible message to all who drives.

But I'm sure, there will be a lot of senseless people (young and old) out there, looking for festive thrills.

To those who believe they can drink and still drive: Please, if you don't cherish your life, respect other people's lives. If you want to die, please die alone, don't kill others while you are killing yourself.
