This type of MRAP was designed for a very specific
purpose as a counter to IEDs and mines as faced by
forces in Afghanistan . I do not see these types of
vehicles as being suited to a more general role other than as
a specialist vehicle.
However, it is an excellent vehicle to protect our
SAF troopers serving there.
