Service woman doing over night duty

Nobode SG

Do you think service woman should do overnight duty? I heard before of service woman kena intimidated when they were on overnight duty with only one male colleague with them. I salute woman signing on but i think they should be given some benefits and protection from overnight duties. Their superior should not wait for things to happen.

In singapore only pregnant women dun do night duties pls correct me if i am wrong.

Maybe woman should not serve at all? I am expecting an outcry btw. Cheers.

Aiyo.... Then what happens during war. Anyway, they signed on, and they were not forced to. They had chosen this job, they would have accepted some of these risks to begin with.

Singapore already has enough separation between men and women soldiers already.

In the US, both men and women bathe without doors together? Correct me if I am wrong.

Shotgun SG

And who told you that? LOL!

Rooney9 SG

is it unfair? pay is the same, but workwise, man get to do the shit work while women get to avoid the shit work.

Terminator Hitman SG

well...complain and the guy will end up in db ,investigations by SIB,scoldings by senior CO and OIC ,finally losing his job and paying back amount due to contract.

YI SG

Woman will never be thrown into DB. They will just be discharged. Maybe they should serve. Lol.

No, definitely separate male/female bunks and bathrooms in camp and on deployment in Iraq. Maybe you saw Starship Troopers (Scifi movie) where they show male & female shower together.

I know SAF women MPs do overnight guard duty in high security hush-hush areas as far back as the early 1980s, possibly even before then.

Sepecat SG

The US has front line women combat pilots operating in the combat zones. They are all well aware of the risks & so do their commanders.
