More importantly, there's a very stringent safety cum
maintenance programme. Lessons from the skyhawk era.
Back in the 70s/80s, there were 40+ rsaf accidents in each
decade. Nowadays, the rsaf number has gone down
significantly to under 1 a year. That's an accident
rate under 1/2 that of rmaf whilst operating more a/c and at a
higher tempo with very long ferry missions.
