There are now many more options for APS which have
been developed in the past few years. They have now reached a stage
where they are reliable, light weight and cost effective.
We can guess that the SAF/DSTA is exploring these options
for installation on at least our Leo2s.
The Western systems include : -
ASPRO-A / Trophy
Iron Fist
AMAP APS
AWISS
LEDS150
Hope to see any of these systems to be installed in our Leo2s as
there is a limit to adding more armor.
