新国陆军展示“开路先锋”扫雷车
KLS新加坡报导：新加坡陆军在2009年陆军展中，展示了“开路先锋”（TRAILBLAZER）履带扫雷车，完全由新科动力研制。
“开路先锋”扫雷车采用了BIONIX装甲战车低盘，它装置了链击式扫雷器（mine flail
system），以滚动铁链猛击雷地，引爆地雷。
据了解，装置在“开路先锋”扫雷车的铁链，平均每绦铁链可以摧毁20枚反人员地雷，而如果是扫除反坦克地雷，则每条铁链只能摧毁3枚反坦克地雷。
在链击式扫雷器行在滚动时，时速超过100公里，在达到一定的滚动速度后，操作人员才会下放滚动铁链猛击雷地，打击力度（hit
impact）接近1000公斤。
维修保养方面，消息指称，其维修相当简单，如果铁链不能再使用，只要更换铁链就可以了。
“ 开路先锋”扫雷车两侧也装置了“路线标示动力系统”（Kinetics Route Indication
System），在扫雷车进行扫雷行动时，它会自动的垂直落下打击地面，标示路线，让后方车队可以沿着已标示的痕迹前进。如此以来，后方车队就不会误闯其
它的未经扫雷的地区了。
新国陆军工兵称，以往在清除100米的雷区，往往必须动用一个排或相等于27人的兵力清除雷区，所需时间约4.5小时，而且扫雷人员必须面对敌人攻击的威胁。
但在有了“开路先锋”后，100米的雷区清除时间约只需15分钟，而且扫雷人员无需面对敌人攻击的威胁，因为他们不必下车进行扫雷工作，全部操作都在一个能够抵御7.62毫米机枪的装甲驾驶舱内完成。
“开路先锋”只需一名司机及一名操作人员，就可以进行操作，而且驾驶舱也装备了7.62毫米机枪。
