Any fellow prawn fisher here in SGF ?

Went to the one located at Asian Golf Academy yesterday and caught approxiately 17 large prawns in 3hours. They charges $15 for 1 hr, $25 for 2hr, $30 for 3 hours.

Hoping to find some forumers with similar interests.

Edit: Asian Golf Academy is located at Sin Ming Road, opposite Toyota /City Cab Service Centre. About 5mins to AMK / Bishan

yeah.. love prawning..
but i went to pasir ris park.. max record is... 4 hr, around 29 prawns..

should be around the same price.. think.. one hour $14.50.. 4 hr for the price of 3 hr..

They don't cook for you.. However, they do provide 2 BBQ pits for you to BBQ them if you're willing to bring your own BBQ essentials...

I was contemplating if I should go there but decided the one at Sin Ming Rd instead...

My largest prawn at 18cm and smallest at about 10cm... The large ones have long pincer...

i was thinking of alternative place to prawn.. cos paris ris is quite far from my hse..

i went to farm mart b4.. but end up go back to pasir ris instead.. cos the activities at farmart is very quiet..

the place where u prawn.. is it "big head" prawns? & did u bring ur own baits?

Straight to tail... There's some smaller than 10cm caught by others, but mine's all more than 10cm..

Pasir Ris is nearer to me though as I've direct bus...

The place prawns got big head and proportioned heads... I think it's due to the size which cause the differences of heads right? Free flow of chicken liver baits are supplied..

nope.. the onli payment required is the rental of the rod which is as above.. u may share rod, no problem.. there's non-angler there as well..

one good thing about them is that they added the prawns at abt 2.5hrs intervals which is rather good..

in pasir ris park prawning ponds. the prawns are thai prawn if i m not wrong..
so they have a big head comparing to those prawn we saw in the market.. like tiger prawn or grey prawn..

i usually bring my own baits (cockeles) there thou' they provided baits.

sin ming prawning sound not bad.. tink i will try there in my next trip.. Smile

& ya.. do they operate 24/7? fyi, paris ris is 24 hrs..
