How much do drivers bid for numbers? Would double digit numbers cost more? Thinking of bidding, but got no idea how much to bid... Confused

My colleauge told me his uncle bidded the no. 66 a year ago for his BMW7 series with a bid of $6K also did not get it for the particular suffix.

The no. "1" sometime can fetch up to $100K.

My friend got a single digit for 10K+ but after that paisei to let people know he got it so CHEAP !!! Very Happy

If you really want to bid, go for it during the first bidding of the series. Higher success rate.

minimum bid is Sgd1000..

if the highest bid for a very popular number is considered "low" by LTA, then LTA has the right not to let go at that price.....

just now saw a red jag on the road with sga1.
wondering if it is possible for a very lucky person buying cheap cars to get a single digit from lta? or that lta keep all of them for bidding?

Wait long long lor. However, it's easier to get 3 digit very nice numbers. My friend got the number 788, free.

That's y i haven been considering.. and the main thing is i dunno how much others bid. For the past few months tat i've been checking the numbers available, quite many have been taken aft the first bidding exercise. Mabbe i shld juz quit the idea.

Actually, if you have a number in mind, just put in a sum you are comfortable and try your luck. The number will last you many many years, and if its really nice, can even be traded decades later Very Happy

recently there was a fellow who trade in his pre fl ek3 at his showroom(if i didn't remember wrongly) and the number plate was 4444..haha, not specially bid. his side also got 1 fit wif 2222 plate. not bidded too..

however one of the most special number i haf seen so far is SBZ58Z..it was arranged in this manner:
