Coz of the industry we are in, the guys usually just wear pants and a short sleeved shirt (or even a golf shirt only)

I can wear anything I like as long as it is smart casual

my main ptis tits: if u r required to wear formal office attire then pls do so from top to bottom...when u miz formal wif casual, ur whole physical image becomes unsightly...i dun agree tat u shld stand out n be the onli one wearinf formal when no one else in ur workplace is doing tat...tats madness...wad i mean is dress uniformly...if u put on long-sleeve wif formal pants/skirt then match tis wif proper leather shoes...

for guys, leather shoes tat dun look fanciful n formal is complete onli when a tie is on n worn properly...for females, dun wear slip-ons...wear shoes tat cover ur feet...heels r nt compulsory but its been proven tat heels do add on to professional image...for both genders, blazers r optional as long as long-sleeved is worn...

the above is my personal opinion of wad formal attire shld be...anything less than tat is nt considered formal...

cause its only the bottom ppl tt dress all those business suit, but the boss all these all wear their home clothes and very comfortable ones.

i stil like the ones in HSBC dhoby ghaut level 1...their dressing is the perfect role model for professional office attire...everyone there wear long-sleeve tops/blazers along wif professional looking office shoes...

for the females, none of them wear slip-ons...all of them wear heeled shoes tat cover their entire feet...some even wear high stilettoes...plus u hardly find any of them wearing pants except for the front desk women who r required to wear a working uniform consisting of black pants n black top... Very Happy

all ah lian meh? but during my attachment at the HSBC branch above them, i took special notice of one of them...i dunno her name but i noe she is a smoker...she had quite a pleasant face but caught me was the way she dress...she would spent 90% of the time wearing a particular pair of shoes...tis pair of shoes was very classy indeed...black n had very high n thin stilettoes wif a pointed front...she wore tis stilettoes almost everyday...

in terms of attire, she usually came in wearing blazer wif a pair of skirt...she usually wore solemn colors...1 striking feature she had was tat she was juz abt the onli one there wif pure black hair...most of the other workers had colored hair...

wearing professionally may nt increase work productivity but it sure gives outsides an impression tat u r confident n well-composed...if tis wasnt true, y do we see news reporters n marketing executives dress in formal attire when they r working? would u prefer seeing them working in casual hm clothes or formal wear?
