I want to take this course, but is it hard to get in?

VagueHart SG

Those in SP can help answer me? I wanna take Diploma in Games Design & Development (DGDD).
Is it hard to get into that course? Competition fierce?

What is the meaning for cut-off points? It's something like a guide of the points we need right?

Is A Math important for that course? Cos I thinking of dropping A Math now.

The link to the course is this ---> this.[/url]

- yup , it is one of the harder course to get in as compare to other courses, cut off point in the range of 11-13.
- A maths is not a requirement to take the course but dropping a maths is not advisable as u most probably will have to face the subject again in poly for IT/Eng courses.

AND i dun tink this course is a gd choice Cool

New course?

Looks good to me Laughing (hey it's bout yourself, if u think u like it why not?)
For me, if it's available last time i will choose it as 1 of my choice. Can draw, can design, can do story, and make music for games

COP aka Cut-off Point is your L1 R4: English, Emaths, and any 3 subjects. Amaths isnt required for this course though.

Not sure bout the COP for this course, didnt see it in the site.

I think this course is more on designin, usin graphic tools like illustration and stuffs and doin animation, writin storyboard.... rather than programmin.... it will be an advantage if your Art is good

I don't know, I really like this kinda things leh.. Other courses don't really interest me... but the COP for this course is kinda hard for my standard.. if I wanna get in must really buck up..

Anyway, is A Math really that important in poly? Cos my A Math sucks, dunno how to improve it.. pull my other subjects down only...
