I booked a new light grey FL Toyota Wish with Pinnacle under the
bidding COE system. My basic car price is $58.998 and the COE is
$12.2k rebating at $12.2k. I was suppose to go for 4 rounds of
bidding which the last round ended today. Was delighted when I saw
the COE ended at $9,001. ie. My car price would only be $68k.
Finally I get my Wish.
When I checked the LTA website, to my horror I found that Pinnacle
did not bid for me. When I questioned the SE, she said that her
manager said that they did not bid cos they cannot fufill my color
of Wish. This is nonsense as if they called me before the bid I
would have gladly chosen another color. The whole time they kept my
$5k deposit and did nothing about it. I am going to demand that
they fufill this order with an open cat. I am prepared to take it
all the way to the press and even CASE. If I dont get my car, I
will make sure they get some poor publicity out of this.
