STOP KILLINGS ANTS YOU BASTARDS!

Xephone_xenon SG

Its not all of the reason.
But i strongly believe its at least 80% of the reason.

Humans and pets compare what.

mystiv SG

in general, humans still look better than most animals..

anyway, for those that bother, go read up on emotivism..its related to what the TS is saying..

mystiv SG

anyway, in this case, it really is more of a matter of different definition of 'animal lover'..

to the TS, animal lover is strictly 100%, with no allowance for any sign of 'dislike' towards any animal..but for the others, the definition aint so strict..

well, few, if any, can really proclaim to be a 100% animal lover..lazy to elaborate Laughing

Xephone_xenon SG

Okay take this for instance.
A bloody ugly dog, and a bloody cute dog injured and lying down at the road side.
I may not have the accurate statistic here.
But i am 100% positive that the ugly dog wont recieve as much attention compared to the cute dog.
Why? Again because the dog is more shitty looking. Or its either the majority are afarid of the dog.

Okay imagine a huge red ant on your neck. And you feel it crawling on it.
Whats the general reaction of many? You just slap the fcuk out of it?
Do you have to do that? Or rather its just because you want to?
You dont have to actually. A tiny bite wont kill you. But you slapping on the red ant will kill it.
So here do we have to kill the red ant? Its because we want to or rather we are used to.
We are educate in a way whereby ants arent important creatures and killing them does not matter.
But seriously that is true? Its just a standard being set by humans.

Its life cycle.... didnt u learn it in pri sch?
humans>cow>grass
predator & prey to have a balance to the ecosystem on earth.....
and this goes on..

back to wad you said abt pets... people do keep exotic animals as pets do they look cute? i doubt so... it all boils down to personal preference...

SO STOP ASSUMING....
because when u assume....
u make an ass out of u and me(or i would say forumites)

Xephone_xenon SG

Yes i am assuming.
But i did state down the word generally.
As when the word generally is there. My assumptions are correct.
And exotic pets are being kept because there are considered to be cool generally.

Humans>dogs>cats
So why dont human kill dogs and cats to balance the ecosystem.
Because it against the law? Or it is not ethical? Or again, its a standard being setup by humans?

Go read up more before you make inferential statements. Go through numerous animal rescue websites, you will find all kinds of animals rescued. Lets talk about dogs here. Real deformed, crippled, 'unattractive' dogs are rescued, medicated and rehomed. Same goes for cute healthy dogs. I dare say the 1st group gets more attention Wink I am looking to adopt a cute maltese puppy. But in the event that i find any other stray seriously need my care i will take it in too.
As for the ants part, you may be interested to know some time ago i had started a thread on it. In it you will find many ppl who DUN kill ants purposely

Xephone_xenon SG

I said generally.
Some of them are just minor cases.

lihuanlo1988 SG

Justify is the word.

China think there's nth wrong with eating dog meat.

Thailand think there's nth wrong killing insects and eat them.

Japanese think there's nth wrong in killing whale and eat them.

Those human eater think there's nth wrong in killing human and eat them.

So if you think you are right, there's really nth that can be done to stop you. You will need a bigger force to overcome the group that justify themselves that they are right. Make sense? Question

Try overcoming China in that issue though....most probably wun succeed Laughing

An ugly looking dog won't receive as much attention as a cute dog and what does that prove? That people are shallow? People should love an ugly dog as much as a cute dog?

In fact people should love an ant as much as a dog? People don't because dogs are cute and ants are not? non se·qui·tur

You are clearly wrong issn't it? Most people love dogs because they can form relationships with their dogs.

You keep twenty ants in a glass. Someone changes the twenty ants with the same type and replaces them... you will be clueless.

You try that with a dog. Even if you change it with a cloned dog, they will know that it is not their dog.
