KLS记者从新科海事电视荧幕中，拍摄到这张“110 FRIGATE”。技术规格完全不详。为了拍摄这张画相，KLS记者对着电视守候40分钟。

在IMDEX期间，KLS记者就在新科海事（ST Marine）展台的电视荧幕中，拍摄到一张只出现在荧幕少过两秒钟的画面，书面显示的是新科海事构想中的“110 FRIGATE”!

为了拍摄这张只出现在荧幕少过两秒钟的“110 FRIGATE”，KLS记者就直接的站在新科海事展台前，足足站了40分钟，为的只是拍摄这张“110 FRIGATE”的画面。在这40分钟，KLS记者不断对着电视拍摄，由于有关画面只出现少过两秒钟，所以动作必须快，如果拍摄的照片模糊，就再等过拍过，绝对不能马虎。

新科海事人员告诉KLS记者，“110 FRIGATE”仍然只是构想中的计划。无论如何，从电视画面荧幕的画面，至少可以确定新加坡未来的水面舰追求了隐型化，“110 FRIGATE”的上层结构相当简洁，没有复杂的桅杆，只有一个舰桥建筑，也没有设有直升机机库。

但可惜的是，电视荧幕介绍并没有介绍“110 FRIGATE”的作战系统及武器。今后，这个“110 FRIGATE”的构想，值得留意，它可能是新加坡海军的未来新型隐型水面舰的构想!

这一次的采访，也给了KLS记者一个很好的采访经验，那就是新科海事的电视荧幕介绍一定要看，里面会有好东西是可以进行采访的。虽然，只是一个简单的构想、概念，但也能从中了解到新加坡海军可能的未来水面舰设计。

I think the ROYAL NEW ZEALAN NAVY will be the best choice where the Singaporean Navy can buy IPV,OPV and the MRV ships.

The Protector-class inshore patrol vessel is a new class of inshore patrol vessels (IPVs) of the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) which replaced the RNZN's Moa-class patrol boats in 2007/2008.

HMNZS Canterbury is a multi-role vessel (MRV) of the Royal New Zealand Navy. She was commissioned in June 2007, and is the second ship of the Royal New Zealand Navy to carry the name, the first ship having been a Leander class frigate. She is also New Zealand's first ever strategic sealift ship.^[5]

However, the vessel has been plagued by problems since delivery, having been involved in a number of incidents and being considered less seaworthy than specified for. It is estimated as of 2008 that at least another NZ$20 million will have to be spent to achieve the sought-for operational abilities.^[6]

The Protector class offshore patrol vessel is a new class of offshore patrol vessel (OPVs) under construction for the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN).
