macjoe SG It may be called wax but is it chemically safe wax or a wax subsitute that's within safe limits? Any known/unknown side-effects beyond safe limits in the long run? I personally would brush and scrub away the wax.
ditzy SG Hang the apple over a lighted stove before you eat it, the wax will have melted, along with other things.
nightzip SG my parents and friends says its better to eat the apple together with the skin, because the wax is a natural protection for the apple against external weather, worms, bacteria etc, and is good for the health?
