Question related to engine

Hi all, would like to ask this. Does anyone experience during high rpm 7 k and you changed gear, but the gear is not engaged untill you dropped to 2.5 den it starts to engage? As though the gear is jammed and you are on neutral gear. I was on gear 2 – 7k rpm at 80+ den I wanted to change gear at half clutch. Normally at low rpm like 3k, it wouldn’t b a problem but just today I experienced it. Is that a bad sign or is it normal??

it happened when i jus got my car. second gear won’t engage until rev pass 7k rpm. better to send to the work shop. can’t exactly rem wad’s the problem but it was alright after i sent it to the work shop.

My case is that when normal drive.. everything is smooth.... the car is 1 yr old le.. run-in liao.. but the problem juz occured this morning. I think it could be the half clutch and 7k rpm from 2nd to 3rd gear thingy. When i reclutch in full and set to 4th gear when the speedo shows around 60, the gear engages and runs back smoothly. Hrmm...Next time must take precautions liao... no more half clutch at high rpm for me liao. Scared me, tot engine all of a sudden wan to die on me le... SOHC engine... scared me

Aiya, its because u half clutch mah. Always clutch in fully before engaging another gear. This is to prevent damage to your gearbox... Very Happy

Some of my friend says i am killing the car. But den again, what if the car is crying?? crying for not fully utilizing its full potential? lolz.... the gears and engine has been smoothed out by me... now I still trying to test its potential but sad to say... the engine was not up to my expectation especially in the gear ratio. The difference in the rpm pickup on different gears. Hrmm... wonder if any kind soul could help me take a look at it?? its fully stock except for a tini wini settings diff. PM me
