Hey check out this game called Open Falcon. A commuity mod for Falcon 4.0. it's even more sophisticated than the original Falcon 4.0. If you got Falcon 4.0 CD lying around gathering dust. Dust off the CD and install it with Open Falcon. This is not a game this is really a sim. LOL.

There is a brother mod called Red Viper too, less realistic or less spohisitcated but the graphics is shinier. Haven't tried it yet though

Red Viper

Red Viper and OF is nice (real eye-candy)... but the net-code for the original Falcon4 was pretty trashy. F4:Allied Force is much better for online play, which I do more often.

Yea Open Falcon graphics imo is shinier than Allied Force. And Red Viper graphics even outdone Open Falcon or so I read.

Well there's Free Falcon 5 which is coming out in December(that is this month) that could be installed over Allied Force. Many people are expecting its release.

My Allied force is a pirated CD while I have the original Falcon 4.0. No legal store that I know sell Allied Force. I'm sticking to OF until Free falcon 5 arrives.

The last time I saw, Sim Lim Square still had allied force.

I'm not Singapore based.

which one takes longer to learn??

Shotgun SG

Both have an equally steep learning curve. If you wanna start out F4AF from scratch, reccommend you join a squadron. They usually have a training program for newbies.

Nah, the real pilots are probably busy trying to clock their hours at this time of the year. No time to post! =D

Pentaxdude90 SG

Haha you mean there are actually fighter pilots on sgforums??

Open falcon is the more realistic one. Red Viper can be added on top of Open falcon but with Red Viper it's not as realistic as Open Falcon. But this is not necessarily be a bad thing because I'm sure Red Viper can still be considered a realistic F-16 sim. Red viper graphics is better or so I heard.

yesterday my comrades died while trying to lure away enemy aircraft, luckily I manage to destroy all of them with my F-16 on my X box

Sounds like Ace Combat Six!!!

The most bloody awesome flight-combat game I've seen so far! I'm waiting for a new one by Tom Clancy to be out.
