Why have the torch turned on when wearing the NVG ?

Are these amateurs posing for a foto-shoot taken with a flash ?

Their eyes must have been blinded when the flash burst with the shutter.

vIn.Warrior SG

His torch is not turned on. It's the reflection by the camera flash.

KNN, if the NVG is on and there's a flash, those two in the first photo would be ripping off their goggles and grabbing at their eyes already.

What fucking kind of boh-license army gets their soldiers to put on NVGs and not turn them on?

Shotgun SG

Which kinda bo license army mount the NVG directly on the head?? Think wad? Splinter cell?

The first picture is from a magazine shoot for promoting the M4.

Second picture same same..... who else around our region uses the Styer extensively? Another Hint... the name tag says "MALAYSIA"

lastly.... same camo pattern ... so i guess its obvious.
