Not so bad lah. A paintball hurts as much and gives
bruises.
I was just telling my ah sir last night about how when we had a
live fire excersise, one of the emptry shells, fresh off a firing
HKMP5 landed down a t-shirt of a friend.
Friend was hopping here and there, tearing at the t-shirt to
release the hot hot shells trapped between his skin and the
tshirt.
The shell finally was released from the body by tugging the
tshirt off his pants. Can sell a lovely long red marks down
his left front torso, marking the trail of that shell.
Try having a 9mm case land between your glasses and eyebrow. Now
that's fun! 
This happened just last week when the idiot in the
stall on my left was rapid firing his Glock 19 and his spent cases
were flying over the partition into my stall. At least I got lots
of his brass for reloading though.
