learning/improving oneself/adding value is like a boat going
against the incoming currents;
if you dun move forward, you are push back.
even if you paddle just enough to neutralise the incoming current
to a stand still, you are still losing as your competitors are
still paddling with their heart out.
I think the above is very true when applied to myself personally,
to the singapore economy and to my company.
