stay dun mean stay the other end of the island or some other
faraway country ma...like, stay a few streets away or the
neighbouring housing estate whereby it's easy to go back to visit.
No matter what, when you put strangers staying together, there will
bound to be alot of conflict. Modern girls these days are very
independent not like some 50 years ago, where they listen to
husband/ in-laws biding. We have our own mindset and ways to
approach different things.
Where else, the older generation is totally different. Take my case
for example, I saw how my bf's mother took care of his newphew. The
doctor prescribed antibiotics for the boy, one spoon once a day.
For those who study science should know the importance of keeping
to the prescribed dosage, time and amount. But his mother chose to
spread the prescribed one spoon of medicine over smaller portions
through out the day.
Not only will this not help the small fella, it might make his
condition worse. And she is not open to any comments as to how to
take care of kids. As a parent, would you feel safe to leave your
kids to her, even though knowing she meant well? This is just one
of the many things that I observed while at his house.
I do not dislike in-laws, but I feel that we should avoid conflict
when possible without straining relationships.
anyway, TS, how is it liao?
