just be practical, really depends on the location,

want to learn more about etiquette,
just be practical, lah, if you want to sit next to a lady, fine,
then how about think about this way, sitting opposite her, is
easier to talk to her, OR sitting next to her is easier to talk to
her, imagine she has to turn her head, just to talk to
you....
at least use some practical sense lah, nobody need to teach you
anything at all
