At last.US Army looks for replacement of M4 carbine

and a ''Subcompact Individual Weapon System''.

So,i can bet that SAR 21 will be tabled to US Army,

through

Vision Technologies Kinetics, Inc. (VT Kinetics)

There is no subcompact individual variant of the SAR-21, the closet thing we have the the SAR-21 LW Carbine.

But it is easily ourclassed by the microTavor (which has gained airtime in FutureWeapons) as well as other modular weapons in the class.

So what's the chance?

It's going to be a hard sell, maybe unless ST slash prices and advertise the SAR-21 as a inferior, but cheap alternative to the other weapons.

maybe we should get STK to form a lobby group in the US and push for our products. its not like we dont know about greasing palms. its a dirty business.

or better still , why dont we export lionnoisy ? our certified ultimate procurement solution : the guru who knows everything and absolutely anything to do with singaporean defence systems. who cant see beyond the benefits of our gear.

STK will become the market leader overnight. and STK stock prices will go through the roof. good for temasek.

Personally, doubt the US Army will go for SAR21. Probably the US Police SWAT teams etc will, but SF community and general grunt issue...probably not. Its due to the bullpup nature of the SAR21. Contenders are probably the HK G36c/k, HK 416 and FN SCAR.

Subcompact weapon...I don't see whats wrong with the current MP5K,MP7 or FN P90.Especially so for the MP7 and P90 which are relatively new on the scene.
