Parking at HDB

Glen999 SG

sometimes, i see the parking signboard at HDB area is:

XX - 1:00am 50cents per half an hour.
2.00 per night.

If I only want to spend 1 hour from 1:30am to 2:30am at my friend's house.

do i have to pay 2.00 or 1.00 parking coupon?

mach10 SG

save it, dun put.

I think after 10p.m normal 50 cent & $1 dollar parking does not count.

Btw. If one day i dun have the $2 dollar nitex coupon, could i put 2 $1 or 4 50cent one to replace it?

hondaek4 SG

if u park at 12.00 midnight or thereafter, it is a new day. So frm 1.30am to 2.30am u tear 2x $0.50c =$1.00 coupon. Very Happy

The $2 night coupon is for overnight parking...start frm 10.30pm 7.30am.

Or if u dare hiong...dun put.

guitarman1 SG

If the coupon don't have the option for that timing at all, then you can't tear it rite?

Have to use e $2 overnight after 1 am. Unless HDB got some hidden rule somewhere that I'm unaware of for hourly parking during those times not on the coupon.

drumstick SG

MOst of the time for that type of timing... majority of the drivers dun put de...

If u really dunno how much to put... ez... choose those carpark with cashcard auto deduct... den no need headache how much to put le... put in ur cash card can liao... lolz

digicharat SG

i dun put cupon in hdb carpark.

Glen999 SG

if no need to put, why peoplel bother to put $2.00 overnight parking?
means that got people checking whether cars got coupons one.

drumstick SG

There is pple checking de... but we will not know when... those that dun put coupons are taking chances only... But hor.. of all places in the carpark.. dun park at the loading bay... KnN.. park there at 1.45am... kenna $100 at 2.15am... in half an hrs time.. $100 gone.. kNS..

tailslide SG

oooooo, wat can one do in 1 hour in the middle of the nite? Embarassed

unfortunately, i think there are no available timings that can be torn from ur normal 50ct or $1 coupon for those hours. logically, once u park in a HDB carpark after 10.30 pm, u are technically considered to be parking "overnite", and hence the existence of the $2.00 overnite coupon.

Praetorian111 SG

Logically you will have to put $2 coupon after 1am. As the 50 cent coupon is no longer valid. If closely examined one will find that there are missing timing on the coupons for 50 cents one. There are two option, one to put the coupon and make full use of the coupon (by staying overnight at your friend home) the other not to put the coupon and risk being fine.

huoye SG

got to put $2 regardless of how long u stay there during the nite.

You can choose to put 1 $2 coupon or 2x $1 coupon both wif same timing

Don’t take the risk in sengkang, i often saw those Cisco ppl around 11 ++ pm, especially on friday & saturday.

Icemoon SG

cant believe there are night shift for parking wardens.

I mean .. it is so dark .. they need to use torch to see find your season parking ticket .. or else eyes sure spoil after few months.
