does the new Kia RIO has 2airbags?any safety features?

coz,some say dun have,

but the internet website at http://www.kia-rio.com/ says that the kia rio has even 6 airbags.....amazing....

so,have or dun have...who has the answer?

Hi benhur80. I think I recall the SE told me only driver side have airbags. That the reason my OC din consider it. Embarassed

there are no airbags. those models with airbags are not sold in singapore.
Taxis also got no airbags, but ppl are taking them also. Trucks, lorries, pickups, kangoos all also got no airbags.
Personally, i felt that airbags are redundant. Just drive safely will do.

btw, motorcycles also got no airbags, and i m riding one. That’s why i felt strongly that airbags are redundant. Got 4 metal walls to protect is already a luxury for me…

check newspaper. I think 1.4 is selling abt 43999 while 1.6 is 2k more. Go to the show room and see how. PM me if you want to go down. I can ask my SE to service you. His service is good. I got my car in 3weeks after booking.

the pickup is slow. However, the engine is very quiet. Gear change is smooth also(manual). Very little vibration felt at traffic junction. For low price, I think this is the best car you can get. I tried verna auto, but din like the ride. The rensposiveness of this rio is good. Of course, dun compare with mazda2, which is my true love, hahaha....

How is the FC of yr Rio? I am interested in getting an auto one. I wonder if the new Rio will have a high FC.

Are there any known problems with the new Rio? Thanks!

the FC is average at abt 12-13km/lit. My mileage is currently at 4500km, so i expect it will improve further(it was only 12km/lit when i got it, but now is more towards 13km/lit).
auto should fare slightly worse and i heard it is at abt 10-11km/lit. No problem with my car so far. Very satisfied with it. If you want to buy, dun change to leather seat. The fabric is good enough. Change to sports rim instead. Nicer...
